Lamb chops cooked in the instant pot instructions

  1. Mix all the spices and other ingredients together then marinate chops ideally leave over nite if not a few hours in the fridge is good also.. but not essential.
  2. In the instant pot add 1 cup of water and cook the chops on the rack, mine were done in 6 mins perfectly and I made 6 in this pic so for 10/12 I would do 8 mins first and if it needs a few more mins just close the lid and let it sit in heat for few mins.
  3. As the instant pot gets very hot so will still cook them. I cooked these on pressure cook mode.
  4. Once done they won’t be crisp like oven so you could put them in the grill on high for a few mins if you like the charred taste.
  5. Garnish with coriander but not essential. In this pic you will see I have onion with mine which I stir fried one onion on sauté 1st then did the chops.

This recipe can also be found on the Sur la Table website. I really wanted to showcase what the Instant Pot could do with this recipe. That if you cook it correctly, meat is delicious in the Instant Pot! The Instant Pot makes cooking tougher cuts of meat or unknown foods a little less intimidating sometimes. Lamb can be a rather tough cut and take hours and hours of heat in the oven to reach tender perfection, but the Instant Pot usually cuts that time down to an hour or less.
